Ed Bray*

Ed has been in the human resource and employee benefits field for over 12 years.  He recently joined Burnham Benefits as their Director of Compliance.  In his role, he is responsible for maintaining health and welfare benefit compliance for the Company’s clients and is leading Burnham’s health care reform effort.   

 

Prior to joining Burnham, Ed directed the benefits function at three large companies located in southern California:  The First American Corporation, Irvine Company, and Apria Healthcare.  His accomplishments include developing and introducing a comprehensive health insurance and 401(k) program for the Irvine Company’s new hospitality division, including a AAA Five Diamond hotel.  Plus, in a five month time span, he successfully led the transition of First American’s health and welfare, retirement, and leave of absence programs to their new public company, CoreLogic, Inc..

 

Ed has served as an expert on the California Chamber of Commerce - Health Care Policy Committee and as an appointed member to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – Employee Benefits Committee. He also has a PHR (Professional in Human Resources – SHRM) designation. 

 

Ed attended Providence College and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.  He also earned a J.D. from Western New England College – School of Law and an M.B.A. from Auburn University.
