Matthew Dean*

Matthew began his USAA career in 1987 working part-time in Property & Casualty working three years each in Claims and Policy Service. In 1993, he moved to the USAA Life General Agency where he held a variety of sales, analyst, and management positions.  In 2006, he accepted a position in Product Management.

Matt is Executive Director in Product Management responsible for USAA’s Life and Health Alliances consisting of the following products and business relationships:

- USAA's proprietary Medicare Supplement and Humana's Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Program distributed through select USAA sales teams.  

- Long-term Care Insurance manufactured by John Hancock and Genworth and distributed through select USAA sales teams and through a distribution alliance with LTC Financial Partners through which we offer seminars and face-to-face consultations with members nationwide. We can offer long-term care insurance to individuals and businesses.

- Major Medical Health Insurance through an alliance with Assurant Health. 
 
Matt has a BBA in Finance from UTSA, holds the FINRA Series 7 license, is a licensed Life and Health Insurance Agent, and holds these professional designations; Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI); Associate in Customer Service (ACS); Health Insurance Associate (HIA).

Matt is married to his middle-school sweetheart, Jennifer, and has a son, Justin (23), daughter, Taylor (13), and son, Tanner (5).  Matt and Jennifer are active in the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.
